They say that time has a trade-off, when you start to be able to play the entire encounter in your mind in matrix, you get to notice the details of the moments, hence time seems to feel quicker. However if you do not pay attention to time, time seems to feel more slow. That seems to be an equilibrium. 

The most important lesson learnt from the bible is, the ability to tell good from evil is more important than rigid dogma. If it was not for true wisdom and judgement that they loved god, it is just meaningless physical exercise.
