1. Happy Birthday, Dear,
2, I love you / but you don't love me / but it is okay / because I love you.
3. The one you love is not in love with you, but as long as the one you love is now happy, so shall you.
4. I honestly asked myself today at the Roman bath, before throwing a coin into the pool. I asked myself, what do I really want?
My ex? Not really
A good job? Not really
......
A family, I want to have a family myself, and also be able to take care of my own family and her family.
A lover is not a lover, but my wife.
A good job is not a good job, but to protect and feed my family.
They are the means, not the ends. I think now I know what I really desire.
5. I am feeling more confident, more calm, more determination, more energy in me, I guess I am really becoming the one I always wanted to be, and perhaps, am always is.

1. The trip to UK gave me some thought, I have been either too immersed into it, or too exhausted to collect my own thoughts, but now in this endless night, perhaps I shall write a bit in order to preserve this feeling.
2. The weather is cool, makes people stay at home. I wonder is this the reason why it is academically advanced: When you have to stay in homes, you have nothing better to do than to study, think, or go overseas and explore. You seldom really end up in between, wandering just around the territory.
3. The weather is also giving me extra solitude aside from travelling alone, I am finding it quite suffocating, but also something one has to eventually deal with when they die. It is just my hope that this kind of calmness given by the weather to me can be preserved to Hong Kong.
4. Starting to play Blackjack, realising that sometimes you are forced to play certain lines, and therefore you should have no regrets trying your luck. The worse is being irrationally fearful of the outcome and be a sitting duck. It is also demanding discipline and self-control, everything has its curve, but when you have exceeded your limit, play not, just leave.
They often say that it is better not to gamble at all, I disagree. Those people are not particularly disciplined, because they have never been under a test, and if one day they have to be in a hot pot, who knows. Whereas if you can cultivate certain qualities under demanding situations, it would have been a better proof because you have been through it.
Count also not only your loss but what you have gained, which does not come necessarily. Do not expect to win everything and get paid for, rather, count also your loss and be thankful that you did not lose everything.
5. Travelling is not remedy to loneliness and solitude, rather, it merely paints you a better picture of the world. You still have to go back to work. It is only after seeing the world as it is, and still able to love it and fight for the things you love when you are back, is real remedy.
6. Friends still have to study and work, I get.
7. Asked to borrow a nail clipper, even though my hands are washed, I would sterilise it after use, people still feel resentful towards it. I just wonder whether it's just me used to think rationally, or people like to think with just associations.
One thing is consent, one thing is their reason behind. Sometimes you make decisions not because it is rational, it just merely about feeling. For me I would have lend it given the guy who borrows it wash their hands and clean it after use, not sure about the others.
8. Visits to great cathedral, tombs, graves gave me the impression that if you are truly respectable and honourable, people shall pay their visit and respect to you, just a matter of time whether it is now or in the future in your funeral. Hearts of the others are not fought, but earned.
Always be sensible, and more importantly, be kind and quiet (Humble). One day when you shall die, history will judge.

I was quite impressed with the tomb of Lord Nelson and Duke Wellington, and to be more accurate, St Paul Cathedral as a whole.
The impression was that, when I was in the whisper gallery, I was thinking that if the building that was created to worship the creator is already this great, how much greater shall our creator be. (Not the word god, but creator, seems more agreeable and accurate)
Tombs of Wellington and Nelson gave me the thought that, one should be kind and dedicating himself to accomplish his tasks or duties (If possible, have some extra ambition to the grandness of the tasks), only to leave all the judgement and tribute the others shall pay to him when one rests in his grave.
Let's hope again that this humble seed grows continuously in my heart and mind, and one day comes through the breaking point and changes me.
(The travel to Sherlock Holmes Museum suggests that a detective uses not only this deductive skills, but also his instinct, that's why Holmes kept playing Violin, listening to Music, keeping his senses with something beautiful and natural.
Also, the sports he does, boxing and swordsmanship, are also to ensure that he has the physical ability required to perform his duties.
